The Heritage Red
Mount Pleasant Estates
For the red wine experience, this package starts with a soft red, progresses to a more robust red and then finishes with the full flavor of a port.
This wine package ages best: 1 - 10 years
This is a softer red with great hints of dark sweet cherry and a mild pipe tobacco finish. We elected to forego any oak treatment to bring forth all of the subtle hints of low cropped Chambourcin fruit.

Aromas of currants, vanilla, and earthy notes in this full bodied wine are rich and loaded with fruits and spice. The finish is long and soft with a bit of tannin structure still present. This wine ages nicely.
Ambitious and concentrated, with an inky color and a juicy, mouthwatering palate framed by mature blackberry and raspberry fruit. A pronounced char note on the nose follows through to a medium, slightly tart finish.
