Shipping

The wine will ship inside your wine box. Shipping transit time is based on the shipping option you selected when you purchased the wine box (from Artificer Wood Works). Shipping is free on this site. 

States we can ship to:
AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NM, NY, NV, OH, OR, RI, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY.

States we CANNOT ship to: 
AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, KY, MA, MS, MT, ND, NH, NJ, OK, PA, SD, UT, VA. We can ship the box (without wine) to these locations and add your own wine once you receive the box.

21+ Signature Required: 
You must be present at the time of delivery. If no one over 21 will be present to receive and sign for the package, we recommend shipping to a business address. FedEx will not leave a package with wine under any circumstances.

3 Attempts to Deliver:
FedEx will attempt to deliver your package (3) three times. After the third attempt they will hold the package at a nearby FedEx location for a minimum of (5) five business days. If the package is not picked up or FedEx is not contacted for other delivery arrangements, then the shipment will be returned to us. You will have to pay to have it shipped again.

Can I ship my own wine?
No, not without the proper license. FedEx, UPS and USPS will not accept or ship packages that contain alcohol from unlicensed individuals. To avoid issue, please do not ship the gift to yourself, add wine, and attempt to reship to the recipient. Instead, have the gift shipped directly to its final destination.

Do you ship wine internationally?
No, we can only ship wine within the continental United States and to the states listed above.

Do you ship wine in extremely hot or cold weather?
We are committed to providing our customers with the best product possible. To this end, we may hold wine shipments in times of extreme temperatures to ensure the wine does not get compromised in any way. This is a rare and often brief delay of only a few days and typically does not affect order times significantly.

Will I receive tracking info for my order once it ships?
Yes, you will receive an email with tracking info once your order is ready to ship.

 

Wine

How do I know which wine package to choose for aging?
Each of the wine packages has an “Aging” reference. For example, if the package says “Aging: 1-5 years” it is recommended that you select “Open On” years within the next five years (i.e., 1/3/5). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

If I choose my own wine, how do I know that it can age 1, 3, 5 or 10 years?
There are no hard or fast rules here, but we recommend getting some expert advice. Go to a local winery or wine shop and explain that you would like to buy some wine that will age well for the defined period of time. They should be able to help you select some great wines for the couple’s future anniversary celebrations.
